Birgit Blau goes grunge.
This is one of my many unfinished knitting projects. Wouldn’t it be great being able to quit your day job to have more time to knit?!
This Saturday started unusually early with a delicious hazelnut flavoured coffee at ‘café noir’ and a visit at my favourite thrifting place. I found this beautiful ashtray, unfortunately I don’t smoke, but it is probably also great for storing jewelry.
Thrifting is my new obsession, today I found this vintage “Miss Petticoat” box. But don’t worry, soon there will be posts about knitting again. Just started to knit some rasberry-coloured cable mittens.
Been thrifting yesterday and to avoid becoming a serious compulsive hoarder I opened a new section in my etsy shop: vintage goods handpicked by Birgit Blau.
Everyone who reblogs this will get a 10% discount in the shop.
yesterday was the perfect sunday. I got some fresh scones, inspired by mrs.cashew, followed by a walk and some thrifting.
Snow flakes are gently falling to the ground, the perfect weather for going for a walk wearing extra warm mittens.
I just started knitting this pair of herringbone-pattern mittens. I use extra fine alpaca yarn, is is extremely soft & warm. Quite impressed by my first try of knitting a pattern.
